Mitchell Minor Red's Winning Streak Ends.
Stratford RV Centre’s Mitchell Minor Red Team locked horns with St. Marys on Thursday, June 16th. During the first inning of home play Connor Eisler got a runner out at third, Colby Faust took a runner out on second and Carson Brown tagged a runner on second to keep the St Marys team at bay!
The Mitchell team had hard and solid hits bringing the game to a 7-3 lead after the first.
During the second inning of play, Colby Faust quickly recovered a ball and sent it to Jake Richardson on first to get an out. Jake later snagged a ball for an additional out on first, while Carson Brown knocked down a hard hit to gain three outs in the second inning!
The Mitchell began a solid inning at bat when Jack Crowley drove Carter Harris in from second base with a fantastic hit to centre field! The St Marys team soon regained their game and forced Mitchell back out into the field.
In the third inning of play Connor Eisler took St Marys out on second and the rest of the team knew where each play was. It was a well matched game all around! The final score was 19 -10 for St Marys. Stratford RV Centre’s Mitchell Minor Red Team plays again in Exeter on Monday, June 20th. GREAT Game boys!!
