In 2 tough games this week team wolfe lost a slugfest 21-20 to team harris, but followed that up with a nice 17-10 road victory in exeter
The Mitchell lions club minor rookie wolfe team, played a couple more games this week winning one and losing one. The locals still hold a impressive 4-1 record on the season. First off the locals played cross town rivals team harris. The game was a slugfest with both teams hammering the ball off the machine. Ray wolfe, Bryson eickmeyer and tyler verberne had some nice hits to the outfield driving in multiple runs. Brady brown came off the DL and had some nice at bats at the plate. It was tough sleddin in the field, but logan Montgomery was able to come up with a nice out. In the end team harris pulled out the 21-20 nail biter win. The next night team wolfe travelled to Exeter. Weston bannon and Masen Houghton had there hittin shoes on, each scoring 3 times. Connor wolfe made a key out at third stopping a Exeter rally. Selina gethke was able to seal the victory with a out at third from a perfect throw from eickmeyer. In the end the locals pulled out a 17-10 win
