Major Mosquito OBA Snap Three-Game Losing Streak With Win In Guelph
The Mitchell Stickhandler Major Mosquito OBA Astros snapped a three-game losing streak, coming out swinging hard in a 23-4 holiday win at Guelph on July 2nd.

Starter Keegan Priestap scattered four hits over the opening three innings, allowing three runs while striking out three.  Charlie Geiger came on to close out the final inning, giving up one earned run with two strikeouts.
After a quiet opening inning, the Astro bats exploded for seven runs in the top of the second inning to take a commanding 7-1 lead, with the big blow coming on a bases-clearing double by Dominic Marshall.  Geiger would also add an RBI double in the inning.
Jordan Visneskie reached base safely in all four at-bats with a double and a stolen base while scoring three runs.  Also scoring three runs each were Marshall, Jack Miller, Cody Bach, and Ben Medhurst.  Bach added a leadoff triple to start the eight-run third inning, and Miller stroked a two-run triple in the eight-run fourth inning.  In a display of the well-rounded offense, every Mitchell batter had at least one RBI.
Next up is a trip to Waterloo on July 5th, followed by competing in the Mitchell Mosquito Tournament on July 6-8th.
