Harmer Homers To Lead Peewee Offense In Cambridge
Carson Harmer's 3-run home run out of the park in the top of the 7th was the highlight of the night, as the Mitchell Stratford RV Peewee OBA Astros notched a 9-4 road win over Cambridge in ICBA action on July 18th.

Harmer opened the game with a single and promptly stole second and third.  After a Dominic Marshall walk, Jarrett Van Bakel drove in Harmer with a sacrifice fly and Marshall scored on Caleb Templeman's RBI base hit to take a 2-0 lead.  Tied 4-4 after five innings of play, Van Bakel opened the sixth inning with a single, scoring on Jordan Visneskie's RBI double to deep right centre.  Kellen Russwurm drove in Visneskie with an RBI groundout to take a 6-4 lead.  The Astros would then add insurance runs in the seventh as Jack Miller reached base on a throwing error and Joel Meinen singled, setting the stage for Harmer's blast down the right field line, clearing the 225' fence.
Visneskie drew the start for the Astros, going four innings with four strikeouts, giving up two runs in a no-decision.  Keegan Priestap was the winning pitcher, providing two innings of middle relief, and Ryan Hubbard would close out the win.  The Astros host Woodstock in a doubleheader on July 20th, with first pitch at 1:00pm at Cooper Field.
