OBA Astros Stay Undefeated in Seven
The Mitchell Stratford RV Peewee OBA Astros ran their unbeaten streak to seven games last night with an 18-5 road win over the Brantford Red Sox.  The locals will wrap up their 2019 ICBA regular season tomorrow night in Kitchener.

Jack Miller drew the start on the mound, throwing two innings and allowing one unearned run.  Dominic Marshall and Ryan Hubbard provided middle relief, and Joel Meinen finished up the final two innings.
The Mitchell offense started off slow, holding a slim 5-4 lead after three innings.  Things would open up in the top of the fourth when the Astros would send eleven batters to the plate, scoring seven runs.  Hubbard got things started with a one-out walk, scoring on Cody Bach's RBI double.  With Jordan Visneskie also aboard after being hit by a pitch, Carson Harmer belted a two-run triple.  Josh French and Caleb Templeman would also double before the inning was complete.  The Astros would add five more insurance runs in the last inning paced by four doubles hit by Marshall, Miller, Harmer, and Kellen Russwurm.
