Bats Stay Hot For 15U OBA Astros In Pair Of Weekend Victories
The Sherman Plumbing 15U OBA Astros notched a pair of wins on the weekend, defeating visiting London Talons 22-3 on June 17th and Hanover Hurricanes 19-0.

In the weekend opening game at Cooper Field, starter Keegan Priestap scattered six hits and recorded eight strikeouts to pace the victory over visiting London.  Charlie Geiger would finish up the final inning in relief.  At the plate, Jordan Visneskie reached base safely in all four at-bats, scoring each time.  Three runs each were scored by Kellen Russwurm, Priestap, and Geiger.
Mitchell would take on the Hanover Hurricanes the next day at 4pm, in town for a double-header with the 14U and 15U Astro teams.  After a scoreless opening half inning, the high-octane Astro offense quickly went to work with a leadoff double by Dominic Marshall and a one-out triple to the centre field fence by Russwurm.  Leading 5-0 after one, starter Visneskie again held the Hurricanes scoreless, and the Astros erupted for another seven runs in the second highlighted by Russwurm's bases-clearing double.  Carson Harmer would deliver the final blow in the third inning with a two-run home run out of the park.  All Mitchell batters would record at least one hit in the 19-0 victory, with Harmer, Visneskie, Priestap and Payton Wood each scoring three runs.
