On Tuesday, July 12, 2022, the juniors recorded another walk-off win! The boys played hard against Lucan and finished the game in record time. Josh EIDT started on the mound and was relieved by Riley SYKES.
Third baseman, Trevor DIXON filled in at second base for a few innings and snagged a hard-hit line drive resulting in a double play.
Lake TAYLOR (he has the longer curlier hair and a red helmet) was catcher for the game and did an amazing pick off at first base while lying flat on the ground. Later TAYLOR hit the walk off allowing his brother, Eric TAYLOR (he has the shorter hair and a blue helmet) to score the winning run.
On Sunday, July 17, 2022, the boys got to play the Mitchell Seniors on their home turf, but different dugout. Eric TAYLOR pitched the whole game himself and they ended the game with another win.
I think these guys like to show off for their fans, Stephen BIRD robbed the leadoff batter of his line drive to third base, Judd WALKER hit a triple, and Riley SYKES made a diving play at second getting the last out of the game.
