Over the past several weeks, the executive have had several discussions on what the 2020 season will look like moving forward. The executive have come to the decision that the 2020 season will start by the end of June following provincial health guidelines as well as the field management guidelines set out by the Ontario Baseball Association. Following the provincial guidelines for phase 2, all Mitchell teams will be practicing and training for four weeks from the start date. Any player that does not want to participate this season please email MMB treasurer at
[email protected] for a full refund. We are asking to please notify MMB using the email address provided by June 17 of your intentions not to participate this season. For all players that want to start with training and practices, you will receive a pro rated refund at the end of the season, based on the amount of ball played this season. All registered players that wish to continue, will receive an email from their coach or division convener explaining health guidelines to participate in these sessions and session dates. MMB has decided that efforts will be made to run Blastball later this summer. Anyone participating this year will be required to sign a waiver form to be registered with OBA this season, this form will be able to be accessed on this website at a later date. MMB would like to thank all players, parents and coaches for showing patience as we navigate through this situation, and look forward to taking to the diamonds soon in a safe and responsible manner for everyone involved.
