Peewee House League Week 3 Recap
In local Peewee baseball action on August 12th, Team Red (Geiger) drew the doubleheader, opening with an 11-8 win over Team Green (Russwurm) in a high-scoring affair, followed by a 6-6 tie with Team Blue (Visneskie).

In the early game offensive slugfest, Carson Harmer scored three times for Team Red, and Braden Hoegy and Ethan Jarmuth each crossed the plate twice.  Ryan Klumper was the only Team Green batter to score more than once.
Ben Medhurst, Keegan Priestap, Trae Nielsen, and Charlie Wolfe all pitched for Team Green while Olen Hopf, Carter O'Brien, Ethan Jarmuth, and Matthew Menheere all saw action on the mound for Team Red.
In game two, Teams Red & Blue traded scoreless opening innings before Team Red jumped out to a lead on a three-run homer by Harmer.  Team Blue would answer back in the third inning as Hayden Nicholson and Max Hannon reached base on walks, scoring on Kellen Russwurm's RBI double.  Team Red stormed right back with three more runs in the bottom half on two walks and a hit-by-pitch to take a 6-2 lead.  Led by base hits from Nicholson and Nick Wagner, Team Blue would plate the maximum four runs to tie the game in the last inning, and shut down the Team Red bats to preserve the tie.
