2021 Season Update
MMB executive have been meeting, and are still commited to offer as much baseball as we can for the kids this year
Last week the provincial government released a multi phase reopening plan. This plan has thrown a bit of a wrench into our plans of starting practices once the stay at home order ends. The provincial reopening plan states practices of more than 10 people cannot start until phase 2 (estimated time of early july) and games cannot begin until phase 3 (estimated time of late july early august). This all could change, but for now this is what we have to go by. So what this means, is that we wont be starting any practicing right away. Our plan is to get coaches in place, WOBA teams divided up , then we are all ready to get going once we know a firm date. Our hopes is still to get some games with neighboring towns as well throughout the summer. It will be a bit of a later start to the season then normal, but our hopes is to run the season later into the fall to give the kids a decent sized season all things considered. The registration numbers are very high this year, giving us lots of teams at every age. Every kid who is registered will be placed on a WOBA league team. Stay tuned to the website for more updates
