Major Rookie - Tier 1, 9U Major Rookie, 2014 (Mitchell Minor Baseball)

The Mitchell Tier 1 senior rookie team captured the WOBA crown in dramatic fashion this weekend.  On Sunday the squad needed to beat Listowel twice to claim the championship in a double knock out format. By winning the first game in extra innings 8-6, the boys played the final game of the tournament and came away with a 8-7 win bringing home the gold.  With solid defence and a couple of clutch hits the fellas played well all tournament.
