Miller Goes Yard in Loss At Cambridge
The Mitchell Stickhandler Major Mosquito OBA Astros lost a 15-14 thriller last night, as Cambridge scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the 7th.  Down to their last at-bat with two outs in the top of the 7th, Jack Miller would tie the game by blasting an 0-2 pitch over the 200' wall in straightaway centre.  But the locals could not hang on for the tie as Cambridge put the winning run on board with a one-out single that would eventually score to win the game.

The Astros started off strong with Dominic Marshall's RBI double driving in leadoff batter Carson Harmer who had opened the game with a walk.  Miller would then single, and come around with Marshall to score on wild pitches to build a 3-0 lead.  Starter Keegan Priestap cruised through three innings scattering five hits while only giving up one run.  Mitchell would add four more runs in the top of the third as Harmer would get things going again with a leadoff single, stealing second, and scoring on Dawson White's RBI base hit.  White, Marshall, and Cody Bach would also score in the inning.
The Cubs erupted for six runs in the bottom of the 4th off of reliever Bach to briefly tie the game 8-8, but the Astros would pull ahead again in the 5th with another four runs highlighted by White's 2-run double and an RBI triple by Marshall.  Cambridge would battle back on relievers Miller and Ryan Hubbard to take a two-run lead heading into the 7th to set the stage for Miller's game-tying blast.  But the locals could not hang on, and look to snap a three-game losing streak by competing in the Woodstock Tournament this coming weekend.
Harmer would finish the game 4-for-4 with a walk, double, and five runs scored.  Two runs each were scored by White, Marshall, and Miller.  Hubbard and Bach both had outfield assists gunning down runners on the basepaths.
