PeeWees Split at Home
The Campbell Insurance PeeWee boys split a pair of regular season contests defeating North Middlesex 14-4 this past week but falling to tough St. Marys squad 13-3 a week earlier.

Holding a 4-3 lead after 2 1/2 innings of work, the locals broke it open by scoring 6 runs in the bottom of the 3rd and sealed it with another 4 in the bottom of the 5th.  Kaleb Baker and Jake Monden lead the charge crossing the plate 3 times each while Curtis Eidt (2), Riley Sykes (2), Calvin McCorkindale (2), Trevor Dixon, Noah Price and Luke O'Rourke rounded out the scoring.  Backed some strong defense, Sykes only gave up 4 hits while striking out 4 and walking 2 through 5 innings of work.  Dixon came on in the 6th and retired the first 3 batters he faced.

One week earlier the boys fell to a strong St Marys club who banged out 18 hits in a 13-3 decision.  The locals struggled to mount any sort of rally and could only manage 7 hits while leaving 5 runners stranded through 5 innings of play.

This coming week the boys play at home vs. Exeter on Tuesday evening and then travel to St. Marys the following night.
