SEASON OPENER by Darryl Eidt
The Campbell Insurance Bantam Boys WOBA hardball team started their season off in Hanover last week. Mitchell started off strong and took an early 2 to 0 lead, but walks and small mistakes eventually led to an 8 to 5 loss.
Trevor DIXON pitched three plus innings while Curtis EIDT finished up the last two innings. Ashton CNOCKAERT and Zach Ward had solid hits and scored runs. Johannes RENECKER picked up an RBI with some solid contact at the plate.
Next game is at home against North Middlesex (Parkhill).
