SEASON OPENER by Darryl Eidt
The Campbell Insurance Bantam Boys OBA team are playing in the London District Baseball Association League this year. Their first game was June 2nd in Mitchell where they picked up a convincing 12 to 7 win against the London Tecumsehs Minor Bantam team.
Jake MONDEN was dominant on the mound going four strong innings. Trevor DIXON finished up in relief. Judd WALKER led the offense with two solid doubles and got things rolling with a five run first inning. Reid RAMSEYER also had a clutch double. The team got contributions from everyone and got numerous timely two out hits from James COPELAND and Curtis EIDT.
Great start to the season boys.
