Bantam O.B.A, 2015 (Mitchell Minor Baseball)

The team cooler was stocked full of ice and water bottles as the Campbell Insurance Bantam boy’s hardball team made the long journey to Wallaceburg to play their year-end OBA tournament in the sweltering heat on Labour Day weekend.  

The Campbell Insurance OBA boy’s bantam hardball team sprang back to life in north London on Thursday night as they brought home a 4 to 1 win over the North London Nationals.  These 10 Mitchell boys took charge of the diamond for the entire seven innings playing a nearly error free game and providing their fans with a ton of excitement.  

The Campbell Insurance OBA bantam boys hardball team went to Lucan on Monday, August 3rd and, except for one bad inning, played a good game in a 14 - 9 loss.

The Campbell Insurance Bantam OBA boys’ hardball team spent the weekend playing a little ball in a tournament hosted by Kincardine.  They played three outstanding games to land themselves in the first seed of the semi-finals on Sunday morning.  It’s unknown whether the semi-final defeat was the result of failing to stay true to the team’s superstitions that they established that weekend or lack of sleep but, either way, they played their hearts out in the semis against the competitive Leamington team.  

The Campbell Insurance bantam boys OBA team continued their winning ways and ran their record to 3-0 for the season with a 6-4 win over North London Majors.
