The Mitchell minor rookie blue team recently split a pair of games with goderich and grand bend. The locals defeated goderich 21-5 in goderich. Landon van bakel and Isaak smith stood out defensively. They both made some key outs for the locals. The rookies then took on grand bend at home, and lost a back and forth 14-10 game. Lucas dejong and logan Montgomery led the offense each scoring twice.
