Late Game Rally Not Enough for Wolfe Flooring Major Rookie OBA's
June 5th, the Wolfe Flooring Mitchell Major
Rookie OBA team made the drive to Lucan for a game on the road.
Lucan took the lead early in the game by driving the ball hard into the outfield going ahead by 13 before Mitchell was able to add their first five runs of the game in the top of 4th. Lucan quickly followed suit, adding another five runs of their own to round out scoring in the bottom of the inning. During the 5th inning, the Mitchell OBA’s rallied to add an additional five runs to round out their total at 10, while some great plays coming from Jonah Gibbings and Matthew Menheere knocking the ball down for Mitchell to quickly get the ball back in to their cut-off man in the infield, prevented Lucan from adding any further runs in the game. Despite the rally late in the game for the Wolfe Flooring OBA’s, the team battled to a tough 9 to 19 loss to Lucan.
