WIn on the Road Keeps Streak Going
Monday June 29th the Walther's IDA Tier 2 Major Rookie team travelled to St. Mary's for a game with their Grey squad. An all around team effort was put forth, and the Astros pulled off a 12-9 win.
Jordan Visneskie had a hot night at the plate going 4 for 4, highlighted by a mammoth double in the 3rd inning. He would also score 3 runs. Ben Medhurst also kept his hot stick rolling, going 4 for 4, all singles. Minor rookie call up Logan Verberne had a strong night recording 4 hits in his debut, putting forth a case to be a possible September call-up. Nolan Vessie also recorded 4 hits, initiating some late inning rallies. Joel Meinien and Brandon Dietrich would also chip in with 3 hits a piece. Great game team, keep on streaking!
