Rookies Come From Behind to Beat Kincardine
Down 12-11 after three innings of play, the Mitchell Stickhandler Tier 1 Major Rookie Astros rallied for 9 runs in the last two innings, beating visiting Kincardine by a score of 20-12.  Carson Harmer and Dominic Marshall were each 4-for-4 at the plate and scored all four times, with Marshall smashing a 2-run triple in the bottom of the fifth.  Jack Miller and Jordan Visneskie each drove in four runs, with Visneskie stroking a pair of RBI doubles.

Joel Meinen doubled, tripled, and scored twice, and Kellen Russwurm added an RBI double.  Zach Houben reached base safely all three times, scoring twice and driving in two runs.
Kincardine took advantage of some defensive miscues in the first couple of innings until the locals settled down.  Marshall and Houben turned a double play in the fifth, and shortstop Harmer ended the game by snaring a line drive deep in the hole and doubling off a runner at third for the final out.
