Mosquitos Rally to Salvage Tie in Exeter
The Feeney Design Build Mosquito Astros headed west to Exeter on June 13th, ending in a 9-9 tie with Express Red.  The locals scored right away in the top of the first as Kellen Russwurm doubled and scored on Josh French's base hit, who was then cashed on Jordan Visneskie's one-out double.  The bats went quiet for the next two innings, and Exeter quickly built a 6-2 lead after three innings.  Mitchell chipped away in the top of the 4th with two runs on Max VanderVelde's RBI groundout and Blake Redfern's run-scoring double, scoring French and Visneskie.

The Astros then blew it wide open in the top of the sixth, scoring five runs to take a brief 9-7 lead.  Callum Harris opened the inning with a single, with the big blow being Redfern's two-run home run to right centre.  Exeter would score two in the bottom of the sixth inning to end in a tie.
Starter Redfern went 2 2/3 innings, relieved by Russwurm who finished up the remainder of the game.  French reached based and scored in all three at-bats.
