The Mitchell Stickhandler Mosquito OBA Astros traveled to St Marys on June 4th, downing their hosts by a score of 16-4.
Things started off slow for the Astros with a scoreless opening half of the first, followed by a bases-loaded triple and RBI single that put them quickly down 4-0. But that would be all the scoring allowed, as Jordan Visneskie would put 8 strikeouts on the board in relief of starter Jarrett Van Bakel. Carson Harmer pitched the final inning to finish things up, putting two strikeouts up as well. Reaching base safely in each at-bat were Van Bakel, Lucas Roobroeck, Caleb Templeman, Keegan Priestap, and Kellen Russwurm.
