Minor Reds Second Consecutive Win on the Road!
Stratford RV Centre’s Mitchell Minor Red Team traveled to Goderich Seahawks Grey team Tuesday evening to play the Seahawk's team. The boys immediately demonstrated their batting strength obtaining 7 runs in each of the first two innings. Jack Crowley, Carter Miller and Jake Richardson were heavy hitters off the batting machine, as they smashed the ball beyond the Seahawk’s infield!
The Mitchell boys then offensively stopped the Goderich Seahawk Greys in their tracks! Carson Brown (catcher) took out a Seahawk before she could leave the plate! Brown was then able to make a play on First base during the second inning! Caleb Pennings would not let the ball get past him during the second inning, nor did Carter Harris. Blake Otten’s quick throw to Ben Hubbard took a Seahawk out on second in the second. Harris then took matters into his own hands outing two Greys with his defensive moves on first base during the third! Colby Faust’s quick feet and thinking took a Seahawk out on third! Connor Eisler was quick to take out a Grey on second! The boys rallied each inning at bat to make it an 18 -14 victory for the Mitchell Minor Red’s! Great work boys! The team will play again this week, Thursday, June 16th at home!
