Mosquitos Suffer Road Loss In Stratford
The Feeney Design Build Mosquito Astros embarked on a two game eastern road swing last week, suffering an 8-4 loss in Stratford on July 24th.
The locals started off strong in the top of the first with three runs as Brennan Ward, Blake Redfern, and Jordan Visneskie all came in to score. Stratford would match, leading to a 3-3 tie after one inning of play, but then shut the Astros bats down for four innings and pull ahead 8-3 in the bottom of the fifth. Visneskie would again score in the sixth but that would be it for the offense, dropping an 8-4 decision to the host Nationals.
