Stickhandler Tier 1 Major Rookies come close in exhibition game with London West
The Stickhandler Tier 1 Major Rookies continued their OBA preparation exhibition schedule vs higher-ranked teams on August 26th, coming up short in a 12-7 loss at home to the London West Tin Caps. The locals fell behind 8-0 early and outscored the opposition for the remainder of the game but couldn't catch up. Carson Harmer scored two runs, and Jordan Visneskie was 3-for-3 at the plate and made a fly ball out in left field. Extra-base hits were recorded by Dominic Marshall, Josh French, and Jack Small. Caleb Templeman made some terrific foul ball outs at first base, and Ryan Hubbard earned an outfield assist throwing out a runner at first base from right field.
