The Stickhandler Tier 1 Major Rookies opened the OBA Tournament in Kingsville yesterday with a win, downing Blenheim 12-6. Jarrett Van Bakel smacked 2 doubles and scored 3 runs, and Dominic Marshall drove in 4 runs with a pair of doubles. The defensive highlight of the game was Carson Harmer recovering a deep hit fly ball in the outfield, relaying to Ryan Hubbard, who threw out the runner to catcher Jack Miller at home plate.
