Offensive Explosion Leads To Win Over St. Marys
A big night night of hitting lead to a win over St. Mary's Grey for the Your Neighbourhood Credit Union Major Rookie Tier 2 Team 1 roster. Mitchell would see 25 runs cross home plate while St. Mary's would manage to score 10. Pounding the bats and scoring four times each in the game were Hayden Nicholson, Blake Redfern, Keegan Priestap, and Charlie Geiger. Also scoring for the home team was Max Vandervelde, Callum Harris, Brooklyn Boville, Jacob Bice, and Lincoln Lorentz.
While in the field, outs were made on the hot corner by Priestap and Geiger. Hayden Nicholson would also snag a well hit ground ball at first and beat the runner for the out. The team continues to build their defensive game and came close to making several more great plays during the course of the game.
