Mitchell Minor Red Takes a Loss at Home.
The Mitchell Minor Red team took on the Exeter# 2 team on Tuesday, May 31st at 6:30pm in regular season play. Carson Brown, Colby Faust, Jack Crowley and Carter Miller were heavy hitters throughout the game for the Red team!. Blake Otten was a wall in his position on first base stopping many throws from his teammates and shutting the Exeter team down at first base! Connor Eisler made a perfect play on second with a solid throw from Jack Crowley (pitcher) and Carter Miller shut the door at home plate on the Exeter team in the second inning.
Caleb Penning and Ben Hubbard had solid plays on third, but just couldn’t force the out. Jake Richardson and Cater Harris played well defensively throughout the game!
Mitchell’s dedication and hard work throughout the game made it tough for the Exeter team, but the Mitchell Red’s did not give up! They played well and continue to work on their fielding and solid batting in the third inning. The final score was 20 to 15 for the Exeter team. Mitchell Minor Red should be proud of their hard work and fantastic sportsmanship throughout the game! Way to go Boys! Thanks to our sponsor, Stratford RV Centre in Mitchell!
